Frequently Asked Questions
How many outlets can I add on one circuit? ►
The Quebec Construction Code limits the number of outlets per circuit based on amperage. Generally, a 15A circuit can support up to 12 outlets. We assess your installation to determine if a new circuit is needed.
What is a dedicated circuit and when do I need one? ►
A dedicated circuit powers a single appliance or outlet. It is required for high-power appliances: dryer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, air conditioner, EV charger, spa, etc.
Can you install smart switches? ►
Yes, we install switches compatible with voice assistants (Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit) and controllable by app. A neutral wire is generally required in the switch box.
Do I need a permit to add outlets? ►
Adding circuits and outlets requires an electrical permit in most cases. As master electricians, we handle all the paperwork.
